Mini-Grant Season is here!

PTO is excited to announce that it is time to apply for Mini-Grants!  (No silly, not Minnie Grants!)  If you are a staff member or even a volunteer who has an idea for a project that would benefit students at our schools, you are encouraged to apply.  You can see a copy of the application here.

Special Project Subcommittees

SPECIAL PROJECTS
This year, PTO has allocated $21,000 to be spent on special projects at our two schools.  This might be playground equipment, chairs for the gym for parent events, improved sound system, etc.  Do you have ideas about how this special project money should be used?  Would you like to have a voice in this process?  If so, please join us at our upcoming subcommittee meeting:
The Weaverville Primary School Special Project subcommittee will have its first meeting on Tuesday October 23rd at 1pm at WPS.
 
The Weaverville Elementary School Special Project subcommittee will have its first meeting on Thursday October 25th at noon at WES.
If you can’t attend the first subcommittee meeting, but would like to be involved with one of these projects, email me.
